182nd Synod of the Diocese of Huron will open with the service at St. Paul's Cathedral in London, Ontario, at 7 pm on Sunday, May 15.
Synod will reconvene on Monday morning at RBC Place in London. This year Synod's theme is "Together on the Road with Christ".
It will be the first time after three years - and two on-line synods - that the representatives from all 160 Huron congragetions will have a chance to meet in person. Those who are not comfortable attending a gathering of this size can participate virtually from their homes. This option will allow delegates not only to see and hear Synod but to vote and to speak too.
Observers will be able to watch the live-stream of Synod through our diocesan website and Facebook page.
