Receiving your Convening Circular

Every effort is made to keep Synod costs within budget, without increasing the Synod fees. The cost of printing and mailing a copy to every delegate is high, so we offer several alternative options:

Please keep in mind that you do not need to print the complete Convening Circular.  After having reviewed all of the sections of the Circular, you may want to print Section 3 (Motions) or any other materials you would find helpful for the proceedings of Synod.

An agenda and other pertinent material will be provided in registration packages at Synod. 

•  Every Church has received one printed copy of the Convening Circular:

Clergy and Lay members of Synod are asked to arrange to pick up, or, make a copy from their church’s master copy. It is hoped that Clergy and Lay delegates will read the material ahead of Synod, including the Synod Reports, Motions and Financials. 

• Convening Circular material available on CD:

A copy of the Convening Circular is available to every parish. To avoid waste, only those churches who request a copy will be sent one.

• Accessing Synod Materials Online:

To obtain the password for the Convening Circular online, please contact Huron Church House.
This will allow you to download the reports and only print what you feel is necessary.

• Additional Printed Copies will be available at Huron Church House:

If you are unable to access the Church copy, the CD, or materials on-line, and require a hard copy of the Convening Circular, please contact Huron Church House. In order to minimize our costs, only a limited number are available.  Please arrange to have your copy picked up if possible, to avoid mailing costs.
