The Dioceses of Huron and Mthatha, South Africa have renewed their covenant in order to continue their journey together in faith for another five years.  Bishop Bennett signed the covenant renewal document with the Huron Companionship Committee looking on.  Bishop Sitembele signed this same covenant when Bishop Terry Dance from Huron travelled to Mthatha in summer 2009. The relationship, begun with Synod approval in 2002, has had a good beginning in mutual respect and spiritual support.
