Welcome to the Huron Catechumenate Network!
Cat what? Catechumenate . . . a process for seekers to experience what it means to be a Christian and develop Christian ways for living and behaving.
We are a group of clergy and lay people in the Anglican Diocese of Huron involved in practicing and promoting the Catechumenate in our churches. We are connected with a wider international network and we look forward to connecting with you.
Workshops
Members of the Huron Catechumenate Network are available to give workshops in your area or congregation.
Baptismal Preparation:
Workshops include an interactive exploration of baptismal theology and practical resources for baptismal preparation for families of infants and children, or adults. Participants will experience, and reflect on, a small group session and a liturgical rite and consider how to use similar resources to develop their own congregation's baptismal preparation ministry.
