Announcements and appointments, this the 24th Sunday after Pentecost, Remembrance Sunday November 11

  1. The Rev’d Canon Stephen Haig, currently the rector of St. John the Evangelist, Leamington, is appointed the rector of St. George’s, Clarksburg effective the 15th of January 2008.
  2. The Rev’d Victor Krueger-Kischak, currently Assistant Curate of East London Anglican Ministries (ELAM), London is appointed rector of Church of the Good Shepherd, Woodstock and Christ Church, Huntingford effective the 15th of December, 2007.
  3. The Rev’d Rob Luxton, Associate Priest, St. John the Evangelist, London is appointed Regional Dean of Brough effective November 1.
  4. The Rev’d Deacon Gerry Adam was appointed Vice Chair of the Council of Deacons effective the third of November.
  5. We keep in prayers all who will journey to Israel this day.  May it be a time of refreshment and renewal.
  6. The Rev’d Canon Jane Humphreys is appointed Archdeacon of Essex, effective the first of January 2008.  The service of collation will take place on Monday, the 14th of January, 2008 at 7 p,m. at St. Mary’s Walkerville, Windsor.  Clergy are welcome to vest the color being white.
  7. The service of collation for The Rev’d Canon Dr. Tim Connor as Archdeacon of Middlesex will take place on Thursday the 6th of December, 2007 at 7 p.m. at St. George’s, London.  Clergy are welcome to vest the colour being white.
  8. An ordination will take place on Thursday November 29 at 7 p.m., the eve of St. Andrew’s Day, in The Cathedral Church of Saint Paul, London:

Angela Brands, Andrea Brennan and Marita Williams will be ordained to the transitional deaconate.  The Rev’d Larry Edwards will be called to the priesthood.  Clergy are welcome to vest, the colour being red.  All are welcome

November 18th
Announcements this the 25th  Sunday after Pentecost,  Sunday November 18:

1. We keep in prayer all who are in Israel this day.   May it be a time of refreshment and renewal. 

2. The Rev’d Canon Kim Van Allen will be inducted as Rector of All Saints’, Windsor on Monday December 10 at 7 p.m.  (All Saints’:  330 City Hall Square, Windsor).   Archdeacon. Jim Dugan will be the preacher with Bishop Bob Bennett presiding.  A reception will follow.  Clergy are welcome to vest the colour being white.

3. The service of collation for The Rev’d Canon Dr. Tim Connor as Archdeacon of Middlesex  will take place on Thursday the 6th of December, 2007 at 7 p.m. at St. George’s, London.  Clergy are welcome to vest the colour being white.

Announcements and appointment, Last Sunday after Pentecost:  The Reign of Christ,  Sunday November 25

1. Kim Northcott, who has been assisting in the Bishops’ Office on an interim part time basis, has accepted the position full time effective December 1st. 

2. The service of collation for The Rev’d Canon Dr. Tim Connor as Archdeacon of Middlesex  will take place on Thursday the 6th of December, 2007 at 7 p.m. at St. George’s, London.  Clergy are welcome to vest the colour being white.
