Announcements – Trinity Sunday, this the 3rd of June, 2007

1. As Bishop Ed Leidel and Ira are in the process of seeking housing, the projected
start date for Bp Leidel to begin his position as Coach, Small Congregational
Development will be September 1.

2. Effective June 1, Sarah Doucette has begun her new position as Administration
Co-ordinator.

3. Rita Furanna, currently secretary to the Chancellor for the Diocese of London, has
accepted the position of Administrative Assistant, Bishops’ Office (the position
formerly held by Sarah Doucette). She joins the Huron Church House team on
Wednesday June 13.

4. On Tuesday June 5th at 7 p.m. there will be an ordination at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Larry Edwards will be ordained to the transitional diaconate with an appointment
to Parish of the Thames. Pat Henderson will be ordained deacon with special
responsibilities for outreach ministry at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Clergy are welcome
to vest the colour being red.

5. The Rev'd Adèle Miles will be inducted as incumbent of Trinity Church, Aylmer
and incumbent of Trinity Church, Port Burwell and St. Luke's, Vienna on
Thursday June 7 at 7 p.m. at Trinity Church in Aylmer. The Ven. Ken Anderson
will be officiating on behalf of the bishop. Clergy are welcome to vest the colour
being green. The service will be preceded by a pot luck supper beginning at 5
p.m. in the church hall. Please contact the church office at 519 773-8031 if you
will be joining us for supper. All are welcome to help us celebrate our new
ministry together as the Anglican presence in East Elgin!

6. The Reverend Bill Gray will be inducted as rector of All Saints, Peterborough on
Sunday the 10th of June at 4 p.m. Clergy are invited to vest. All are welcome.

7. The Ven. Dr. Jim Sutton will induct the Rev. Bill Ward as Rector of St. John's
Tillsonburg and, St. Stephen's Culloden with oversight for St. Charles Dereham
Centre on Sunday, June 24th at 3 p.m.. Clergy are welcome to vest the colour
being white, (St. John the Baptist).The Rev. Canon William G.Cliff will be the
preacher.

June 10th

The following appointment and announcements are made this Sunday the 10th of June,
2007, the second Sunday after Pentecost

1. The Rev’d Sue Malpus is appointed to the new position of Children and Youth
Ministry Co-ordinator for the Diocese of Huron. Currently the rector of Parish of
the Holy Spirit, Sue will begin her new ministry on September 1.

2. The Rev’d Dr. Drew MacDonald has accepted an appointment with the Diocese
of Toronto as rector of St. John (York Mills), Toronto. Currently the rector of
Trinity, Cambridge, Drew’s appointment is effective September 1.

3. The Rev’d Jay Koyle was elected President of the Council of the Associated
Parishes for Liturgy and Mission (APLM), at their recent annual meeting.
Congratulations and blessings are extended to Jay.

June 17th

Announcements – Sunday the 17th of June, 2007, the third Sunday after Pentecost

1. The Ven. Jane Humphreys, currently the rector of St. Luke’s Broughdale, London
and Archdeacon of Middlesex is appointed the rector of St. Mary’s (Walkerville),
Windsor effective the first of September.

2. The Rev’d Robert Parker is appointed Incumbent (part time) of St. Andrews,
Tilbury and Church of the Ascension, Comber. The appointment is effective
September 1.

3. The appointment of an Archdeacon of Essex has not been made at this time.

4. Diocesan Council on Friday, June 15, supported the request of the vestry of St.
Aidan’s, Elmira to close (effective June 30). A service of thanksgiving will be
held on September 12.

5. Prayers are requested for all who will gather for General Synod in Winnipeg
beginning June 19. May God’s will be done.

6. Your prayers for the delegates and the nominees for Primate (Bishop Bruce,
Bishop Fred, Bishop George and Bishop Victoria) are sincerely appreciated.

June 24th

The following appointment and announcements are made this day of Sunday the 24th of
June, 2007, The Feast of St. John the Baptist:

1. The Rev’d Colin Pearce, currently Team Vicar of St. Aldhelm’s Church in Bristol
England is appointed Incumbent (half time) of St. Barnabas, Windsor and
Incumbent (half time) of St. Andrew’s, LaSalle. This appointment is effective the
first of October.

2. The Rev’d John Hodgins, rector of Holy Trinity, Chatham, has written the bishop
to indicate he is resigning effective the 31st of August.

3. The Rev’d Ed Wagner, rector of St. George’s, Owen Sound, has written the
bishop to indicate he is retiring effective the 31st of July. His last day in the parish
will be Monday July 2, 2007.

4. The Rev’d Deacon Dr. David Wearne has written the bishop to indicate he is
retiring from outreach ministry at Church of the Ascension, Windsor, effective the
29th of June. He will continue to function liturgically and pastorally within the parish.

5. The Ven. Dr. Jim Sutton will induct the Rev. Bill Ward as Rector of St. John's
