Appointments and Announcements – Sunday the 1st of July, 2007, 5th Sunday after Pentecost

1. The Rev’d Patrick Byrne currently Interim in the Parish of Tyrconnell is
appointed Incumbent of the Parish of St Hilda’s-St Luke’s, St. Thomas effective
the first of September.

2. The following new appointments were made to National Committees by General
Synod 2007:
Canon Paul Rathbone was elected to Council of General Synod; David Embury of
Church of the Holy Saviour, Waterloo, was elected to the National Pension
Committee and Jesse Dymond, a seminarian in Huron and youth co-ordinator at
St. Aidan’s, London, was elected to the Partners in Mission and EcoJustice
Committee.

3. The Rev’d Deacon Judy Castle has written the bishop to indicate she has retired
from outreach ministry at Bishop Cronyn Memorial, London. She will continue
to function liturgically and pastorally within the parish.

you that there are still lots of space in our one-week camps...except July 22 - 28. Please

July 8th

Appointment and announcements this Sunday the 8th of July, 2007, the 6th Sunday after
Pentecost

1. Andrea Brennan, currently Chaplain, Huron Church Camp; is appointed lay pastor,
St. Peter’s, Dorchester, effective the first of September. A date for ordination to the
transitional diaconate will follow. Upon ordination Andrea will be named Deacon in
Charge of the parish.

July 15th

The following appointment was announced on Sunday the 15th of July, the 7th Sunday
after Pentecost:

1. The Rev’d Canon Brenda Clark will provide part time Incumbency ministry to the
Parish of Tyrconnell (St. Peter’s, Tyrconnell; Church of the Nativity, Dutton;
Grace Church, West Lorne and St. Stephen’s, Burwell Park) effective the first of
September.
